Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of a Markus license from KODYO SRL (”Kodyo”, ”we”, ”us”), processed by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record.
1. Try before you buy
Markus offers a 14-day free trial with no payment method required. We strongly encourage you to evaluate the Software fully during the trial, so that you only purchase once you are confident it fits your needs.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. No justification is required.
To request a refund, email support@getmarkus.app with your order reference or the email address used at checkout. Once a refund is approved, your license key will be deactivated.
3. EU/EEA right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases.
For digital products supplied immediately (such as a downloadable license), this right can lapse once supply has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. Where this applies, you will be asked to acknowledge it at checkout. Our voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee in §2 applies regardless.
4. How refunds are processed
Because Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for your purchase, refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy back to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your payment provider. Lemon Squeezy’s own terms also apply to the transaction.
5. After the refund window
After 14 days, refunds are generally not available, given that a free trial was offered before purchase. If you experience a genuine technical problem that prevents you from using the Software, contact us at support@getmarkus.app — we will try in good faith to help resolve it, and will consider reasonable exceptions case by case.
6. Abuse
We may decline refunds where we reasonably determine the request is abusive, fraudulent, or part of a pattern of repeated purchase-and-refund.
